We’re Not a Brand. We’re a Family That
Roasts Coffee.

By Craig & Lori Weyer | Stay Brewed Coffee & Roastery | Saint Anthony, Indiana

If you’ve been burned by a values-branded coffee company before, we understand why you’re
skeptical. And we’re not going to ask you to just trust us. We’re going to show you exactly why
Stay Brewed is different — not in our marketing copy, but in the way we actually operate.

Because here’s the truth: a lot of companies built around patriotism, faith, and family started
out meaning every word of it. And then they grew. They took on investors. They moved into
big-box stores. They hired marketing agencies and started optimizing their messaging instead
of their coffee. The values stayed on the bag. The behavior quietly changed.

We’ve watched it happen. And we’ve made a decision that it won’t happen here.

Provably Small. Intentionally.

Stay Brewed is not a large company pretending to be small. We are actually small — roasting
in Saint Anthony, Indiana, in the commercial kitchen we built out of our garage. Craig does the
roasting. Lori runs the operation. Our daughters color your pictures at the kitchen table.

There is no fulfillment warehouse. There is no investor board. There is no layer of customer
service representatives between you and the people who made your coffee. When you email
us, Craig and Lori read it. When something goes wrong with an order, Craig fixes it — personally, that
day.

We can’t fake that. And we wouldn’t want to.

Fresh Because We’re Actually Small-Batch

Large brands use the phrase “small batch” in their marketing. But small batch means
something specific: coffee roasted in limited quantities, close to the time it ships, by people
paying attention to every roast.

At Stay Brewed, every order ships within 72 hours of roasting. The roast date is printed on the
bag. Not a best-by date calculated for shelf life — the actual date your coffee was roasted. You
can do the math yourself when it arrives.

That’s not a claim we make because it sounds good. It’s a commitment we make because it’s the
only way to sell coffee we’re proud of. Fresh coffee tastes better. We roast fresh because we
care what’s in your cup — not because a focus group told us freshness is a selling point.

Pricing That Doesn’t Spike

One of the most common complaints about values-branded coffee companies — and we’ve
heard this from our own customers who came to us from elsewhere — is that the price keeps
going up while the quality quietly goes down. The bag gets a little lighter. The roast gets a little
darker to mask cheaper beans. The subscription auto-renews at a higher rate with no
notice.

We charge fair prices for genuinely good coffee. We’re not the cheapest option on the internet
— we can’t be, because we’re not cutting corners on sourcing or freshness or mass producing an inferior product. But we’re also not a
premium lifestyle brand charging you for the logo on the bag.

What you pay for at Stay Brewed is what’s in the bag: high-quality beans, roasted fresh, by a
family that depends on your loyalty to keep the lights on. That’s a very different incentive
structure than a publicly traded company managing quarterly earnings.

Values That Show Up in Behavior

Any company can put Faith, Family, and Freedom on a bag. We know that. Which is why we’d
rather show you what those words mean in practice than ask you to take them on faith.

Every single order that leaves our roastery includes a hand-colored picture made by one of our
daughters. Not printed. Not stamped. Colored — by a child in our family, for the person whose
name is on the box. Our seven daughters have grown up inside this business, and their hands
are literally in every order we ship.

We pray over this business. We make decisions based on our conscience, not our conversion
rate. When Craig isn’t roasting coffee, he’s a faith-filled husband, father, grandfather, and a member of his
community in Dubois County. This is not a persona. This is just our life.

What We’re Asking You to Do

We’re not asking you to believe us. We’re asking you to try one bag.

Order a single bag of whatever sounds good – or a sampler to get a variety of coffees. Check the roast date when it arrives. Brew it the
next morning. See if it blooms. Smell the bag before you open it. Taste what fresh actually
means.

If it’s everything we say it is — and we believe it will be — consider a subscription. Not
because we’ll make it hard to cancel if you don’t love it. Because you will.

And if you ever have a question, a problem, or just want to tell us how it tasted, write to us.
Craig will write back.
